About Westborough Wicks Candles
Each candle is hand blended and hand poured with organic, eco-friendly soy wax. Westborough Wicks offers votives, pillars, tins, and jars (mason and libbey jars) in over 65 scents. They also offer two specialty lines of candles: 100% Pure Beeswax (white and natural) and Essential Oil candles such as lavender, ylang ylang, ravensara and basil.
Westborough Wicks offers custom orders, fundraising, weddings, online orders and upcoming arts and craft classes at their Massachusetts store.
Get to Know Mark and Sandy, Owners
Husband and wife team, Mark and Sandy Dekoschak, started Westborough Wicks in early 2012. It began at their annual holiday party where they tacked up a sheet and asked guests to name their new candle business! It grew from there into a website and online orders, then in December 2012 they opened up their shop in downtown Westborough MA. All candles are made in the candle room of their home in Westborough MA – these are truly made in the USA. And each candle is made with the environment in mind, using cotton wicks and recycled packaging, things to help our planet just a little.
While in high school, Mark learned to make candles from a small, local candle factory/shop. He always loved the art of candlemaking. Each candle is handmade by Mark himself. This passion coupled with Sandy’s love for the arts and handcrafted, eco-friendly items was a natural fit for the creation of Westborough Wicks which offers hand poured soy candles and other eco-friendly, handmade gifts.
