Gift Ideas for Newborns
Share
Last week I shared some of my favorite gift ideas for the Mama-to-Be and today I wanted to share ideas for the precious, fresh-smelling newborn in your life.
1. Aden + Anais Bamboo Swaddles Three-Pack (Mela pictured) Ask any mom whose ever used A+A swaddles and she will rave about how soft, beautiful and multi-purpose they are. I actually didn’t even know about them back when my son was born! But I’ve seen them in action with my niece and they are divine. They come in a wide range of colors, patterns and fabrics.
2. Dandelion Handcrafted Roly Poly Ball (Koala pictured) These cute rattles are soft, appealing, and perfect for getting baby’s attention. Most of all they are made with silky bamboo threads and stuffed with fibers made from corn. Baby can grown into grabbing, shaking and biting this fun friend. Beside koala, they also make fish, pig, owl, panda, rooster, cow, bee, ladybug, and frog ball rattles.
3. Gowns and Cute Caps by L’ovedbaby (Keen Green pictured) These 100% cotton gowns are ideal for a brand new baby. With fold-down mitten hands and matching caps, babies will be cozy
4. Skip Hop Hare Baby Comb and Brush Set This charming little bunny would be so cute setting on a nursery room shelf. The ears are a baby comb and brush while the base is a mirrored on the bottom. I just adore it when cuteness is functional, don’t you?
5. Motherlove Birth and Baby Oil Not only can Mom use this before Baby arrives, but it’s safe and gentle enough for a newborn’s tender skin. Massage is a wonderful way to relax babies. We did it with our son and he loved having his back and legs rubbed!
6. Little Alouette Teething Toy (Gigi Giraffe pictured) This toy is handmade in Ohio from locally sourced hardwoods. It will make a great first toy for baby to practice grasping and later serve as an awesome teether.
7. Swaddlebees Newborn Simplex All-in-One Diaper (Monsters pictured) If the newborn will be cloth diapered, there are a lot of options on the market for his or her tiny bum. I’m sort of in love with the Swaddlebees option. Really, I mean how can you find anything cuter than these monsters? This print is one of two new ones along with all their old prints and solids. All are swoon-worthy and really great diapers.
8. Pediped Originals (Fredrick style pictured) These are adorable first shoes! They come in four sizes for ages 0-24 months. Pedipeds are known for helping to promote healthy foot development as well as being durable shoes. I just love the line of first shoes with their soft soles and clever design.
That’s it for today! I’ll be posting more about toddler gifts soon. Are you planning to come to the store for Black Friday (and Saturday and Sunday)? Who all is on your shopping list?
