Life Through Photos | Beach Vacation
One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go on a beach vacation. This year we rented a house near the Beach and spent a whole week. The weather was not too cooperative for the first part of the visit but the last 4 days it was beautiful.
I didn’t bring my big camera with me to the beach until the last day – I took photos with my phone. I kept my phone in a zip-lock bag when I wasn’t using it to keep the sand exposure to a minimum!
These photos were taken with my big camera – the wind really added a little maturity to the photo of my oldest son – one of my favorites of him to date. The photos of them together are so them. And that is the key to sibling photos! Sure, getting them both to look and smile is always nice, but these are the photos that I cherish; the two of them interacting like they do everyday.
These photos were taken with my smart phone. When you are lugging a ton of stuff to the beach – the last thing I wanted to worry about was my big camera and bag. I had so much fun watching both boys explore the sand and ocean. I can’t wait to take them back! This was also taken during world breastfeeding week – so of course I included a photo of me breast-feeding on the beach!
