ABOUT BALTIC SEA AMBER

Baltic Amber, aka "Gold of the Sea" or "solidified sunlight," is one of the world's oldest and most envied treasures. It is a fossilized tree resin formed by light and life, preserved by time, and washed up on the shores of the Baltic Sea. It is warm to the touch and light to wear. Baltic Amber is revered for its high concentration of succinic acid. Each bead is a beautiful and unique piece of history - a fossil from an ancient forest!

SIZING

Sizing is important! Never buy your child a "one size fits all" necklace. To find the most appropriate length for your child, we recommend measuring using a piece of yarn. You should be able to put two fingers between your child's neck and the necklace and the child should not be able to reach the necklace to his/her mouth. Our necklaces are made for wearing, never for chewing!

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Wear your Baltic Amber necklace next to the skin, under clothing, and as close to the pain source as possible. For children, remove jewelry during nap and sleep times. Do not wear jewelry in the bath or pool. Avoid detergents and cleansers; they can leave a residue that inhibits Baltic Amber's healing properties.

SAFETY

SAFETY FIRST! Our children's jewelry is lab-tested for safety in a USA CPSIA-approved lab and is safe for children age 0+. Children must be supervised while wearing jewelry. Our necklaces are designed, however, with the safety of children in mind. Each bead is individually knotted on the strand. This means that if the necklace were to break, only one small bead would be released rather than all of the beads on the strand. Our necklaces are available with plastic screw or pop clasps, each with a safety release built in.
