The neem oil and sesame oil in CJ's BUTTer® PLUS make it especially effective when diaper rashes and skin irritations are yeast based thanks to the anti-fungal properties of both oils! Try it on: Yeast Rash, Thrush, Cradle Cap, Athlete's Foot, Yeast Based Eczema, Psoriasis and more!
Please note: CJ's BUTTer® PLUS formulas are not artificially scented. Neem oil diffuses a distinctive smell, which some find somewhat unpleasant. Nonetheless, most users agree that the effectiveness of the product by far overcomes the smell of the PLUS formula. Ingredients:
PLUS comes only in unscented and contains no lanolin or oatmeal and includes sesame and neem oils which have skin protection, healing and antifungal properties.
CJ's BUTTer® PLUS:
Organic Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Olea Europaea Fruit (Olive) Oil,Theobroma Cacao Seed (Cocoa) Butter (Cocoa Butter, Citric Acid), Cera Alba (Beeswax), Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Melia Azadirachta (Neem) Seed Oil, Tocopherol** (Vitamin E).
**Derived from soy
How can CJ's BUTTer® PLUS be used to help with cradle cap?
Apply the PLUS liberally and massage gently. Reapply as needed, especially immediately following bathing as traditional shampoos can often increase drying.
Is CJ's BUTTer completely cloth diaper safe? Even when used with synthetic fibers? Do I need to use a liner?
Yes!! CJ’s BUTTer is completely cloth diaper safe. No liner needed. It will not cause repelling OR staining and washes out easily with hot water and detergent/soap. There is only a very small amount of lanolin in the formula and it melts away easily in the wash.
My child (or dog) just ate some CJ's BUTTer. Should I be concerned?
CJ’s BUTTer® is edible (although I don’t think it tastes particularly delicious) and is made with food grade ingredients. If a large amount is ingested, you may notice a slight laxative effect when it reaches the large intestine, but unless your child (or dog) is allergic to one of the ingredients, you shouldn't notice any adverse reactions. If you’re still concerned, please call poison control. (This is what we were told when we called.)

I love this balm! Not only is it silky smooth but it has helped heal my baby’s skin from terrible rash! I will buy this again and again!
This product worked almost immediately. My baby had a rash on his neck and I had been using other products with no luck until I used CJ's BUTTer Plus.
My favorite so far. I've tried multiple sticks and creams.
This really helped my baby's diaper rash! Better than any I've used. Most ointments for cloth are just barriers and don't help much if there's already a rash, but this one helped a lot!
This stuff is great. I used to always resort to disposable diapers and desitin when my babies got diaper rash, but CJ's Butter Plus has been working just as well as desitin for diaper rash. I don't even mind the smell. It's a little odd, but certainly not offensive.
we used this to treat yeast and it definitely has a strong smell...but well worth it to help fight a yeast rash. we bought the spritz since the tub was unavailable at the time and it doesn't spray that well. it goes on more like a stream and you still have to rub it in/spread it with your fingers to get even coverage. i think it would work better with a different spray nozzle.
I can certainly tell the difference between this and the regular CJ's. This is much thicker and I like the way it spreads and the texture. Some of the scents we have tried with the regular's CJ's is grainy when spread on.
This is such a luxurious feeling balm. It goes on smooth, not greasy or tacky, and it absorbs quickly. It certainly doesn't feel like ointment! I've not had any issues with my cloth diapers (natural or synthetic fibers). The adults in the house use it too! My husband and I both wash our hands constantly at work and get horribly chapped knuckles and splitting cuticles, and it helps immensely. We love CJ's products!
My daughter is 17 months and we've battled yeast since she was born; both vaginal yeast infection and thrush. This helped her poor little butt! She had open sores on her; I changed her often and sprayed this stuff on her butt (I also switched to disposables for about a week) and she cleared up!
This is the only cream that helped solve our baby's mystery rash. It wasn't diagnosed to be yeast but I had suspicions because there was a small patch that would not go away. After one application it was gone! The unscented version us my favorite for every day prevention of irritation, but this one is a miracle worker!
