We purchased training pants in both GroVia and another brand for our 20 month old, he’s not quite ready but has been showing interest so we thought we’d get ready and start with pre washing them. He likes to wear them around the house, and seems to
enjoy his newfound freedom of movement- much trimmer than diapers. The fabric has an excellent feel, I like how easy and quick they are to get off of him!
Soft, cute and nice colors, perfect absorbancy. Our issue is that the extenders have tough, bulky corners and they leave a red welt (impression) on the back side where these corners sit. This is our only issue, but an uncomfortable one.
Have tried everything to remove poop smell from them after 1 incident. My other cloth diapers I have no issues with the smell. If potty training sometimes you can't avoid a #2 so these really shouldn't qualify as potty training.
We love the GroVia trainers. During the early stages of potty-training, I particularly love these since they unsnap at the sides. This makes the inevitable accident much easier to both contain and clean up since my little one is not trying to step through leg holes while dirty. We will eventually graduate to trainers that are more like underwear in their design, but you can't be the clean up ease of a GroVia trainer.
I just loved every detail buying at SweetBottomsBoutique.
Thank you so much!
I trully recommend the store!
These training pants have been very helpful for being out and about with my potty training boy. When he has potty accidents it doesn't end up all over the floor of the store. Thank u!
We haven't used them yet but they seem to have the same great quality as GroVia diapers we own.
I'm not sure why these don't get more love. I use them overnight with my almost 5 year old. A Geffen m/l hemp prefold fits in the pocket and lasts all night. I like that you can switch up the sides because I can make the neutral colors girly and then my boy doesn't have to wear all pink when he gets to them. I use only easy to clean diapers and the small bit of hemp in these has given me zero issues, even with overnight use. My daughter prefers these to there because they go on like a pull up and there's no flaps or anything to get in the way or feel weird.
Works great as a day trainer for light accidents. I sometimes add in a thin insert for additional absorbency.
We have tried a few brands, and these are our Go-to trainer when leaving the house. They provide excellent protection against leaks, and fit similar to underwear (still a little bulky, but not like a diaper)
